Bali Echo Visitor Guide

Bali living promotion

Located 3kms. North East from the centre of Ubud, the artistic and cultural centre of Bali, is the traditional Balinese village of Laplapan, seemingly untouched by the hands of time. Here Natura has been conceived, a new concept in environmentally aware guest accommodation.

p54a.jpg (17307 bytes)Situated within the Petanu River valley, one of Bali’s holy rivers, the emphasis is on the nature of the river and the jungle. With direct access to clean natural swimming and the soothing sounds of constant flowing water, the jungle site is a plateau with dramatic views across and along the river, already rich and densely vegetated with coconuts, palms, exotic fruit and an abundance of advanced native trees. Natural springs abound in this haven of peace and tranquillity.

Natura’s design plan was to enhance the beauty of the existing site, withenvironmental impact being a serious consideration. The preservation of existing vegetation and the protection of the river and wildlife was paramount in the design of the fourteen luxury villas.

On your arrival at Natura you will be greeted by the understated reception area that introduces our 80mtr. suspended walkway which guides you through the treetops to the main dining Wantilan superimposed on a backdrop of Mother Nature’s finest, providing spectacular views, breezes and water sounds of the Petanu river directly below. Other facilities include a comprehensive riverside Spa, a spring feed pool and sun terrace, a 20mtr. lap pool, a library and small Conference room and an exclusive gift shop. The secluded villa’s have incorporated the highest standards with traditional and natural Balinese Architecture with the option of luxurious indoor comfort or the natural beauty of the private outdoor courtyards.

An opportunity for guests to see and experience first hand the unique religious lifestyle of the Balinese people, an ancient island culture vibrating with the spirit of the past. Stroll through the seemingly endless rice terraces almost on you doorstep.

p55b.jpg (15302 bytes)Relax in the riverside Spa exploring the traditional beauty and healing rituals of Bali. Go for a mountain bike ride, or visit some of the many historical and religious sites within easy touring distance. If your need is to simply get away and relax, Natura was designed with you in mind. Lay down on your day bed with a good book and a special Natura breakfast, enjoy a rejuvenating treatment in the riverside spa, or soak up the sun by the pool. At the end of the day enjoy an unforgettable dinner at sunset watching the hundreds of white herons returning to the neighbouring village of Petulu. We make the Natura experience an art form, our aim is to rejuvenate the spirit and enable us to return you, inspired and relaxed to you everyday life.
