Climate
As Bali is situated just below the equator, the climate is tropical. The average daily temperature is 29 C (84 F) and the water temperature is always around 28 C (82 F). As the MATAHARI BEACH RESORT & SPA is directly located on the coast there is always a  nice cool breeze. The dry season lasts from April to October and the rainy season from November to March. But even during the rainy season it seldom rains continuously.
Language
The national language is Bahasa Indonesia. English is spoken by most of the younger people whereas Dutch is still spoken among the elder ones. German, French or Japanese is only taught at universities.
